Financial Accountant II

KBW Financial is currently working with a well established organization based out of Hopkinton, MA that is actively looking to add a Financial Accountant II to their growing team! The Financial Accountant will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Finance, and will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, monthly close, and other duties as assigned. The Financial Accountant II will perform the following: 

Responsibilities: 

• Accurately prepare and post journal entries
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations, investigate variances, and address discrepancies efficiently
• Help prepare audit schedules and provide assistance to internal and external auditors
• Provide financial and variance analysis to support informed decision-making
• Support the preparation of employee benefit plan audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions
• Provide support for various ad-hoc projects as needed
